Lagos
This small and charming harbor town in the Algarve, South Portugal, is definitely worth a visit. With its historic city center, palm-lined promenade, exciting nightlife, and excellent restaurants, Lagos offers everything that your heart could possibly desire – including surfing.
The breathtaking scenery around Lagos is mainly dominated by picturesque cliffs. Marvelous sandy beaches and countless different surf spots provide you with the prerequisites that surfers have always dreamed of.

Lagos offers all necessary facilities you might need: ATMs, banks, supermarkets, surf shops, pharmacies, hospitals, police, firefighters, car rentals, bike rentals, trains, busses, etc. Or just ask our staff, they will try to help you with everything you may need.
Luz
Luz is originally a small fishing village. The town is dominated by its beautiful beach and surf spot right on Praia da Luz. The long beach extends from the cliffs on the southern coast all the way to the Algarvian Gold Coast. Luz offers you the buzz of a popular seaside resort while you can still enjoy the old town charm in a peaceful setting. And it is just a 10-minute drive by car to Lagos where you find more shops and an exciting nightlife.
The town of Luz sits behind a sheltered bay. On the West side of this bay, you will find a fort. This fort was used to protect the town against pirates, but is now transformed into a restaurant. On the characterizing beach promenade, there are more bars and restaurants. Enjoy your food and drinks while you check the waves!

Sagres
Sagres is situated at the most south-western tip of the Algarve and of Europe. It is a small town with a laid-back atmosphere, amazing beaches and spectacular views from the steep cliffs. It is ideal for surfing, as it provides the luxury of surf spots facing different directions so that you will find waves every day. Sagres also provides plenty of restaurants and bars so that you can enjoy the nightlife after a day on the beach. Besides surfing and sun seeking you can also go hiking, fishing or climbing. The light tower is the most famous spot for a sunset facing directly west.
