Thank you for your interest in our surfcamps.
Here is some important information you should read before you book.
Once you have confirmed the booking, a 20% deposit has to be paid within 7 days. The rest of the payment will be arranged on arrival – sorry, but we do not accept credit cards. It will be fine to pay in Euro upon arrival.
A number of cash machines are available in Lagos and Luz. Note that you only get 200€ with each withdrawal and a maximum of 400€ a day, which means that administrative charges of your bank could occur and you should consider bringing some cash with you.
The following amounts of the total holiday price will be charged if you cancel your Surf Experience:
20% of the total holiday price if you cancel more than 30 days before departure,
50% of the total holiday price if you cancel 8 to 29 days before departure,
80% of the total holiday price if you cancel 4 to 7 days or less before departure.
100% of the total holiday price if you cancel 3 days or less before departure.

If you arrive early in the morning and want to surf on that day, let us know about it in advance.
If you do not come to one of our accommodations with our transfer service, please inform us on your approximate arrival time via email (email@example.com) or call +351 282 760 964 or write a text message to +351 914 980 997.
We recommend that you arrange a travel insurance in case you book and cannot make the trip for any reason. Additionally, please read our Covid-19 specific terms & conditions as they differ from the standard booking policies.
Additional Terms due to the current COVID-19 situation
With my acceptance of the terms and conditions, I confirm that I will keep all precaution measures that TSE – The Surf Experience LDA has set up in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 e.g. the regular use of disinfectant, wearing a mask in closed public rooms and in the cars and keeping the recommended social distance to others.
TSE – The Surf Experience LDA cannot be held liable for a contagion of COVID-19 during my holiday in one of the accommodations or at any of the activities.
Before you take part at any of our activities or you leave your room at any of our accommodations in the morning, you check yourself for symptoms. If you feel any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay in your room and contact us by phone.
You confirm to the best of your knowledge and belief that you are not infected with COVID-19 and have not been in contact with a person who was infected. In case your medical doctor confirms that you are infected with COVID-19 before you travel, you can cancel your accommodation or activity with us without any charges. Otherwise our normal terms and conditions apply for cancellations.
If there are any other restrictions due to COVID-19 that prevent you from travelling please contact us directly and we will find the best solution for you.
I. You cannot travel because:
- You do not feel safe to travel or decide for private reasons which are not included under II.1.-3., not to come.
- Your employer advises you not to travel.
- A travel warning for Portugal or for the Algarve is declared
- Your flight or your other travel possibility gets cancelled
In the cases I. a.-d. the regular terms & conditions of TSE The Surf Experience will apply.
II. You cannot travel because:
- You are in a lockdown, which implies that you are not allowed to travel.
- We are in a lockdown, that means that doesn’t allow us to offer our services.
- You are infected with Covid-19.
If you cancel due to II.1.-3. the percentage amount of the holiday price according to the date of your cancellation (20 – 100 %) has to be paid and will be credited as a Covid-Voucher with a validity of one year. If you cannot use your voucher within this timeframe it will expire. For the reasons named under II 1.- 3. we need a proof. If we do not receive a proof, no Covid-Voucher will be given and a payment concerning the regular terms & conditions apply.
It is your duty to cancel on the date when restrictions due to Covid-19 are announced. If you cancel later, the regular terms & conditions apply.
